We first starting paying attention to the music of Flume right around the time that Molly dropped some knowledge on what we’d see rise to the top of this year’s Coachella’s chatter, and so far that prediction has proven very true.
With dynamic remixes of Disclosure and Lorde bringing his music further into the forefront of today’s mainstream producers, and the fact that he’s only 22, there is already plenty of science lending credibility to his output for the forseeable future. Especially given how well he’s selling tickets just a few months later.
He’s in NYC tonight for a set of sold-out shows at Terminal 5 and you may be seeing him come your way in the next few weeks. I’m not sure he’s an easy ticket at all these; all three shows at Terminal 5 starting tonight sold-out, so the other stops along the way are obviously going to chance at the same fate.
