I was really excited to see the announcement this morning that Fleet Foxes are returning with a new album and tour early this year. Sub Pop will be releasing the band’s follow up to their eponymous breakthrough released in 2008 with this year’s Helplessness Blues, and the band has offered up the title track for streaming in anticipation of the release.

The band starts their tour in Vancouver on April 30th. Sadly I’ll be missing their West Coast run as I’ll already be in New Orleans for Jazz Fest by the time they play the Fox Theater in Oakland, but plenty of you other live music fans will have the chance to check them out soon.
