Some of the best electronic jambands touring these days are all heading out on the road this fall. I figured I’d round it all up into a quick and easy post.
First things first — The Disco Biscuits just played their frequent haunt in Sayreville, NJ and debuted a new tune by the vocalist that makes people cringe the most, Aaron Magner.

The new direction of this band has many people scratching their heads and making weird movies promoting fantasy feuds between the Disco Biscuits of old and the Disco Biscuits of new (see the video “When Allen Met Sammy” for more). The new songs aren’t totally blowing my mind yet, but like any good band I’m sure these songs will grow and become something that people will be cheering for just as loudly as any other four-on-the-floor jam vehicle that this band is constantly recreating. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

The constant improvisation of EOTO is going out on the road in October across the country to support the release of their first EP, Fire the Lasers!. The band is playing at Schwagstock and Earthdance before starting the tour in Santa Cruz.
