I haven’t paid much attention to what Toubab Krewe has been up to lately, so it’s cool to hear that they’re releasing a live disc and going out on a fairly large tour which started last night in Atlanta. I won’t be able to catch them on Halloween because I’m already booked up for the Umphrey’s McGee run here in SF — that should be awesome — but they’re hitting every other major market, too. Hope to catch these guys again soon; they’re music can be totally hypnotic.
Toubab Krewe kicks off an extensive fall tour this week as they prepare to release their sophomore album, Live at the Orange Peel. The new album captures their outstanding 2008 New Year’s run at the Orange Peel in their hometown of Asheville, NC.
