The War on Drugs announce new LP, release "Holding On"

The War on Drugs have confirmed some details on their new album and decided to kick out a new track in the process — SCORE!

First, how about that new LP…

Due out on August 25 on Atlantic Records, A Deeper Understanding is their first full length release to follow up their incredible Lost in the Dream release. They already released one of the tracks for record store day earlier this year — the 11 minute “Thinking of a Place” — and then followed that up with some new tour dates. Today they released their second track from that LP, a rolling rocker called “Holding On”.
