George Porter, Jr. just dropped the bad news on Facebook — no SF shows this weekend! :(
Due to illness, The Meters shows scheduled at The Fillmore this Friday, August 25 and Saturday, August 26, have been cancelled.
Unfortunately Art Neville is unable to travel to San Francisco and perform with The Meters this weekend. He is currently under medical evaluation in New Orleans. We send our best to Art, His Family and all the fans.
It’s a very, very tough decision to cancel any shows, but without Art, these shows would not be The Meters.
Refunds are available for all ticketholders at point of purchase.
