The Melvins have announced an 10-week US tour that’s set to start in September of this year. Joining them on this tour will be American alt rock band Redd Kross, as well as the Swedish musician ShitKid.
“Redd Kross and ShitKid are two of my favorites. We’ve already done fantastic European tours with both of these bands so I know bringing them out with us on this trip will be a total mind blower for the lucky fans,” said Buzz Osborne.

The Melvins’ bass player and drummer both play in Redd Kross and will be performing in both acts on the tour.
Tickets went on sale Friday, May 17.
A vinyl reissue combining the Melvins’ The Maggot, and The Bootlicker is expected to have its release date announced soon.
