STS9 has announced their full New Year’s Eve run details and a set of openers that will be joining them for the shows. The band returns to the venue they’ve held many runs at, The Tabernacle in Atlanta, which will feature four shows by the band starting on 12/27. They’ll be joined by sub-ID, ExMag, and Toubab Krewe, and Modern Measure gets the New Year’s Eve opening slot.
All shows for the five night run will be at the Tabernacle except for 12/30, which will be a secret show at some other venue (for now TBA).
The band seems to be teasing another big year ahead, too, stating that their “2020 Visions is about the future we want to create” and that it’s “a homage to nature and a call to action inspired by Sequoia’s, the largest trees on Earth.” That’s what they’re bringing to the run, a sense of movement throughout the shows:
Each night represents a different stage in the life cycle of a tree: Seed, Sprout, Root, Rise, Return.
Scroll down to see the ticketing details and the openers by date that the band posted.
