Skrillex is having a big day today in addition to the big Mothership tour announcement, and it’s all starting to make more sense now with the recent news that he had put out an app called Alien Ride as well as sitting in for a Reddit AMA.
Hidden within the app were clues that a new album was due out soon, and sure enough tonight everything started getting released with the confirmation that his new album is called Recess. It’s super varied and it’s got plenty of womps, but it’s all over the map in a really good way. Check out the tracks below and get the album via iTunes.
