Chicago-based rockers Wilco are currently in Japan set to play their overseas finale in Tokyo this Friday night. Last night’s show at the Hatch in Osaka included a rare encore performance of “A Magazine Called Sunset” and relied heavily (six songs) on material from the classic Yankee Hotel Foxtrot. Let’s hope Jeff Tweedy decides to play “Monday” with the appropriate lyrics “The world record players on a tour of Japan” from the 1996 album Being There before they leave the country. Check out last night’s poster and complete setlist.
