Trey Anastasio played the first of two dates last night when he joined the Nashville Symphony for a performance at Schermerhorn Symphony Center in Nashville, TN. A lot of the tracks he played have been done in the symphonic setting before, but later in the first half of the show Trey brought out a beautiful version of “What’s The Use” which absolutely floors me. Wow.
Here’s the setlist from the show:
Set I: First Tube, Brian & Robert, Divided Sky, Summer of ’89, Whats The Use, Stash
Set II: Time Turns Elastic, Petrichor, You Enjoy Myself
Encore: The Lizards, Water In The Sky
