Widespread Panic wrapped up a two-show run in Chicago on Saturday night with a lengthy, strong and jam-heavy showing in keeping with their past record of dynamite performances in the Windy City. Tomorrow the band makes the trek up to Minneapolis for the Sunday show. Once again, Panic offered a free stream through their facebook page and the Mixlr. The setlist and playing were both across-the-board excellent, really picking up in the latter half of the second set during “Jack” and “Stop / Go”. Finally, a “Blue Indian” / “Ophelia > The Shape I’m In” encore was a perfect signature on a stellar night.
