Phish just finished up their second night in Lake Tahoe at Harveys Outdoor Arena, and it’s clear that this little ski-town / lake community got themselves a package of two of the best shows the band has played back to back this year. Tonight’s show will be known as the one where the band busted out a 36 minute version of “Tweezer” to start the second set, with a few ups and downs coordinated so wonderfully around a few call-and-response style moments where the band would cut and the crowd would react with a “Woo!” Maybe it was just a tease for “Twist” song in the third slot, but the fact that the “Woo!”‘s returned in “Run Like An Antelope” as well as the “Tweezer Reprise” encore, it was clear the band found a theme to play off with the audience and we all came along for the ride. The first set was nothing close to throwaway either, with 2013 debuts of “Camel Walk”, “Sparkle” and “Brian and Robert”. Download the show here via LivePhish.com.
