Phish in St. Louis is in the books. After one of the better first sets of summer, the second didn’t let up with an inspiring transition from “Chalkdust Torture” into “Frankie Says” and an all-star version of “Limb by Limb.” You can download the show from LivePhish now.

Notes from the Sideline:
Fishman was introduced as “The John Coltrane of the vacuum cleaner” during “I Didn’t Know.” “Frankie Says” is Song #212 of the Summer Tour. The Curtain did not contain (With). This was the first time in history “Peaches” followed “The Curtain.” According to @YEMblog everything except “Ocelot” in tonight’s opening set was debuted in 1993 or earlier. “Chalkdust” was unfinished. This version of “Limb by Limb” is in the must-hear category and will probably be looked back on as one of the top jams of the summer. Watch out for the Cactus Bombs during “Undermind”, “Sand”, and “YEM.” Immediate reaction from #CouchTour groups this show atop the second leg. Phish plays the state of Oklahoma for the first time in their career tomorrow. Interestingly enough inside a zoo at the Zoo Amphitheatre in Oklahoma City, OK.
Tweets:
Yeah, I'm a jaded vet. But, my fav 3.0 song is Ocelot, so even with that inclusion this OG set really tickled my soul.

Gordo's been working out and taking so many steroids, he didn't need a trampoline to jump during YEM. #cactusjuice
