Rumor: Trey to Play the Theatre @ MSG on NYE

It’s not official yet, and it comes from the place where people think Page has Parkinson’s, but there’s rumor going around that the Trey Anastasio Affirmative Action Funtime Band, aka 70 Volt Parade, will be playing at The Theatre @ Madison Square Garden on December 30th and 31st.

So while the Black Crowes and friends are rockin’ upstairs on the main stage, Big Red & Co. will be downstairs playing a more intimate show for the brave souls who still get suckered into buying his tickets (namely me). It’s just incredibly funny to think Trey will be going from MSG to The Theatre in just a few years.
