Scary news reported this morning coming out of yesterday’s Roots Picnic in Philadelphia, with as many as five people injured as the results of a stampede that happened during the 21 Savage‘s set on the main stage at the Mann Center. It’s being reported that it occurred after someone in the crowd claimed another festival goer had a gun. Ugh.

Scary stuff. Thankfully nothing more serious happened, but this is still a good reminder that we need to work to keep music festivals as a safe space.
