More guests to report regarding the Rolling Stones and their 50th anniversary tour. The tour finale on December 15th will include Bruce Springsteen, The Black Keys and Lady Gaga.
The band said in a statement: “We’re excited these extraordinary artists, Bruce Springsteen, Lady Gaga and The Black Keys, have agreed to help celebrate our 50th anniversary as we share the night live with our fans all over the world…Now the fun begins of trying to figure out the best songs to perform together.”
The concert, titled, “One More Shot” will be broadcast on pay per view and cost $39.99.
The PPV event is being produced by WWE Entertainment. Yes, that same Vince McMahon owned wrestling conglomerate. The large price tag is a far cry from the $7 online broadcasts that were made available from Bob Weir’s TRI Studios and Phil Lesh’s Terrapin Crossroads in recent months. It will be interesting to see how many fork out the cash. Forty bucks sounds a lot better than what tickets are going for online. The Stones go live on PPV at 9pm EST/6pm PST.
