Robert Plant has announced a set of 2018 tour dates and a new release is due out soon! Carry Fire will be the next official LP release from Plant and his Sensational Space Shifters, due out on Nonesuch Records on October 13. Today we also have an official video for the track, “Bluebirds Over The Mountain” — check it out below!
Written by rockabilly legend Ersel Hickey and later recorded by both Richie Valens and The Beach Boys, “Bluebirds Over The Mountain” features special guest Chrissie Hynde joining Plant on vocals. The track is accompanied by a striking companion visual.

The tour kicks off in Raleigh, NC on February 9th and will hit a few stops along the East Coast before moving to the Midwest for shows in Chicago and Minneapolis. Then it’s onto Denver, Phoenix, Oakland and finishes off in Los Angeles (but we’re told more dates are coming). Read below!
