Yes, you read that right. The homegrown, Grammy-winning, brass-banging soldiers of soul from New Orleans, The Rebirth Brass Band, has just announced 8 tour dates with Rock and Roll Hall-of-Famers, Red Hot Chili Peppers. While this is HUGELY exciting, its hard to say that the tour accompaniment is unexpected, given the elite talent that Rebirth has so finely-tuned over their nearly 30-year career, and the fact that Flea has recently proclaimed his sheer admiration for the musically-infused culture of the Big Easy (which you can read about HERE).
