Earlier today, Trey Anastasio’s Online store was updated with pre-order and tracklist info for his new album “Traveler” out October 16th. Glancing quickly at the list both “Land of Nod” and a cover of the Gorillaz’s “Clint Eastwood” are the most noteworthy. “Land of Nod” was first performed as part of TAB on October 7, 2011 and shares the same name as an earlier New Mastersounds song. Songs never heard before either on another album or live are “Corona”, “Architect”, and “Traveler.” Complete tracklist and pre-order info after the jump.
Traveler, Trey’s newest studio album, was co-produced with Peter Katis (The National, Interpol, Jónsi) at Tarquin Studios in Bridgeport, CT. Musicians include Trey Anastasio Band, Mates of State’s Kori Gardner, The National’s Bryan Devendorf and Matt Berninger, and Icelandic percussionist Samuli Kosminen. All pre-orders containing the new album will receive one Limited Edition Traveler Lithograph. The print measures 8″x5″ and is signed by Trey. All orders will be shipped to protect the LE print (Source).
