Pink Floyd is following up their first addition to the YouTube Film Festival last week (PULSE) with today’s premiere of the band’s seminal Live at Pompeii concert film. You’ll only have a brief window to watch the show, so make sure you catch it in the next 24 hours.
The band will be showing their 1970 KQED broadcast, An Hour With Pink Floyd, next week and then finishing off the series with David Gilmour’s Live at Pompeii.
1972 saw the release of ‘Pink Floyd Live At Pompeii’, a film of the band performing without an audience in the historic Roman amphitheatre of Pompeii, directed by Adrian Maben. The concert film is the 2016 re-edited version as featured in ‘The Early Years 1965-1972’ box set and will appear as part of the @YouTube Film Festival for a period of *24 hours only*.
