Despite muddy conditions, yesterday was yet another massively successful Hogs for the Cause. Festival goers were greeted with a sunny day in City Park and turned out in droves to soak up the food, NOLA Brewing beer and every variation of pig-based feed imaginable (bacon ice cream?). Hogs has a good problem on their hands, changing locations for the 3rd consecutive year to be able to handle the increasing size of crowds and competing teams. This year’s festival brought The Gourds, Mississippi Rail Company, Stooges Brass Band, Voice of the Wetlands All-Stars (including a guest appearance by Dr. John), Marcia Ball and headliner Trombone Shorty and Orleans Avenue. Continue below for a few videos from the day in City Park and a full photo gallery.
