Phish has given the fans what they demanded and will reach into their “1.0” vault for a show from Virginia Beach in 1997 for their next Dinner And A Movie livestream coming up this Tuesday, May 19th. The selection specifically is the band’s July 21, 1997 show from GTE Virginia Beach Amphitheater in Virginia Beach, VA, and like always you can tune in for free this Tuesday at 8:30PM ET at LivePhish or Phish’s Facebook page.
The show featured a sit-in by Dave Matthews Band‘s LeRoi Moore who passed away 2008. Here’s the setlist via Phish.net:

For this week’s recipe and dinner menu selection, Trey Anastasio takes three recipes of Italian comfort food from Scott Tacinelli & Angie Rito, husband-and-wife chefs and co-owners of Don Angie, located in New York City’s West Village. The meal includes Italian American Stuffed Peppers, Pasta e Fagioli with Black Eyed Peas & Collard Greens, and Polenta Snickerdoodle Cookies… mmmmmmmm.

For this week’s Dinner And A Movie we thought it would be thrilling to invite Scott Tacinelli and Angie Rito of Don Angie to design a menu. Don Angie is regarded as one of the top restaurants in NYC today, and we had an unforgettable dinner there with friends a few months ago. Scott and Angie are long time members of the Phish community, having attended many shows, and we all sat and talked and laughed at the table after dinner and had such a fun night. We are so grateful to them for sharing their culinary wizardry with all of you this week. Of course we all look forward to a day when NYC restaurants are open, as well as all the incredible music venues. For Dinner and a Movie this week, we can have a taste.Trey & Sue
