In a newly uploaded video from our buddy LazyLightning55a, you can now watch the entire set two from Phish in Lake Tahoe at the Harvey’s Lake Tahoe Hotel & Casino right on Stateline, NV.
At a time when the band’s playing was not favoring long jams or deep type II excursions, the band delivered a stunner of a second set at this show with “Tweezer” starting the set and carrying on for almost 40 minutes before the band threw it back to a “Tela” bust-out. It was here the “woo” was invented, and having been lucky to be at that show personally, I can tell you that it truly was one of the deeper spontaneous connections I’ve ever felt to the band and the scene as a whole. We all knew that it was happening, too, and kept woo-ing as hard as we could. What. A. Night.
