As millions of football fans tuned into Super Bowl LI, it was Phish fans that collectively let out a huge victory roar before the game even started. The NFL chose to use some very dramatic music while running intros for the respective teams, and during the Atlanta Falcons intros, the national audience on FOX was treated to none other than “Tweezer Reprise” while Ving Rhames gets the narration duties and gets the audience stoked for the game.
Wildly enough, it was the studio version from A Picture of Nectar!
Man, I hadn’t heard that one in a while.
