Phish just wrapped up their Fall 2019 tour and a three-night run in South Carolina, and on the second night of the run the band got wild in set two (as somewhat expected).
Following a standout Talking Heads “Crosseyed and Painless” cover, the band played a “Split Open and Melt” for the ages deep in the set that stretched out a few of the themes that had appeared earlier in the evening, including a little play on “Little Drummer Boy” and more “still waiting!” quotes from the C&P chorus.
