It’s been one year since Phish was on a brief fall tour before they headed to Las Vegas to deliver their Kasvot Växt masterpiece for the Halloween run. Before they got there, the playing across the set of shows in Chicago really highlighted a band deeply entrenched in a collective mindset and the highlights were plenty.
One of the big moments from the first night in Rosemont was the “Sand” that came out deep in the second set which made the cut for the band’s official LivePhish highlights.

I also remember “Mercury” being pretty big that night, and I’m not the only one, so give that one a listen today, too.
