Phish fans have been paying close attention to the upcoming Lake Tahoe run and what’s been happening in Northern California surrounding the Caldor Fire. The situation has been developing rapidly, and the fire still isn’t contained enough to inspire much confidence among fans that the Tahoe run would take place, especially considering every other concert there in the past week was cancelled. It would be downright dangerous to have people flood into town right now.
For those #Phish fans preparing to visit Lake Tahoe for their upcoming shows there, you really need to keep a close watch on what's happening with the #CaldorFire. Right now Highway 50 is closed, which is the main road that feeds into South Lake, and the air quality is bad. Ugh.

Just now the band confirmed the inevitable: the Lake Tahoe run will not happen. But along with the bad news came some good news: they’re moving the two shows to Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, CA!
Anyone that had tickets for Tahoe will be able to transfer these to the Shoreline shows, and tickets for anyone else will go on sale tomorrow via Ticketmaster.
Head here for the full announcement.
Due to the hazardous conditions caused by wildfires in the area, we are sorry to announce that Phish’s shows at Lake Tahoe Outdoor Arena in Stateline, NV 8/31 & 9/1 will not take place as planned. The band will instead play two shows at @ShorelineAmp on the same dates. pic.twitter.com/8oIbzmohGv
