The rumor we heard a while back is indeed turning out to be true: Skrillex got the hold for Madison Square Garden on New Year’s Eve, breaking Phish’s four-year run at the venue. Ticketmaster.com is showing The confirmation at Ticketmaster.com was removed from the database, but indeed, the screenshot above shows that Skrillex and Diplo are booked for New Year’s Eve at the famed venue, which will inevitably be rebranded as Jack U plus whoever else they want to bring along for the party. And this means that Phish is likely bringing their New Year’s Eve show back to Miami’s American Airlines Arena. Start booking those travel plans now! (UPDATE: Phish has been confirmed for Miami in case you’re curious!)

The show will include individual sets from both artists and a special performance from their joint project Jack Ü. More special guests will also take the stage that night, which are to be announced. Tickets for the general public go on sale Friday, September 19th at 12pm EST.
