Phish has announced that they’re going to start requiring full proof of vaccination against COVID-19 or a negative test as a prerequisite to get into shows coming up after the Atlantic City run.
The band will then take a week off after AC before heading West to play the Gorge, Lake Tahoe, and Dick’s in Denver, so fans attending those shows will need to show that they’re safe before entering the shows.
Phish fans were getting worried, especially considering the front half of this Summer Tour has been carving through the South where COVID cases were spreading like crazy amongst the unvaxxed. So it’s about time we saw some announcement like this, especially considering other bands were a little quicker to lock things down harder.
Starting with Phish’s shows at The Gorge, all ticket holders to Phish’s summer and fall tourdates* must provide proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 or proof of a negative COVID-19 test result taken within 48 hours prior to when doors open for each show.
Head to the band’s Twitter account for the thread.
