Phish is taking the stage shortly for their third and final night at BB&T Pavilion in Camden, New Jersey, right next door to Philadelphia.
The band will be webcasting the shows via LivePhish.com so head over there if you want to order a copy of the webcast.
The band got started with a nice “The Curtain” that brought the “With” segment as they’ve done with most versions we’ve seen lately, but a nice and not often seen “Fast Enough for You” appeared in the second slot. The band got revved up again with “Buried Alive” and started out a little messy, someone was off count the first 90 seconds or so, but once they synced back up this one really took off for the fences.
“Reba” was a great version, “Sample in a Jar” was standard as was the “Pebbles and Marbles” although that song rarely appears anymore, and the “Tela > Mango” segment is where everyone went a little nuts and “IT’S ONLY SET ONE?!” The slowdown slot of “Driver” was a great precursor to the craziness of “David Bowie” that would end the set.
Standing next to my dad crying happy tears together while listening to @phish play pebbles and marbles is a top 5 life moment ❤️ @TomMarshall111

Set two started off with “Mr. Completely” and went into a massive version of “Twenty Years Later” that will get people talking about that one for months.

The band explosion of noise that came with BBFCFM made way to a perfect slot for “Tweezer” keep the set jamming and rocking. “Shade” brought a pause, “Most Events Aren’t Planned” busted out some of that patented PageEDM, and Makisupa > Chalk Dust > Suzy ended the set in fine Phish-y fashion.
For the encore slot to get “Punch You in the Eye” is ridiculously rare, and the band moved into “What’s the Use?” and “Julius” got the show closer for the ridiculously good night of music. Arguably the show of the run/year so far, but we have all of today to discuss that before the band moves to SPAC.
