Phish has shared their official gag video from the New Year’s Eve show at Madison Square Garden, the event they’ve dubbed “40 Years of Phish.” By now you’ve probably already read about what went down on stage, and this video captures everything from the Singing Telegram to begin the third set all the way through the Dancing Carinis doing a kick-line to “New York, New York.”
So thankful they released video like this, because I get to see angles and insights I couldn’t see from Sec. 120 in the venue. Blink and you might miss the whale floating through the crowd, which was cracking us up from where we sat. Definitely something I’ll need to re-watch a few times.
