It’s been a bit silent from the Pearl Jam camp lately following a relatively tame year for them during 2012 (except that killer sit-in with Jay-Z during “99 Problems” at Made in America Festival), but yesterday things started to get more interesting for PJ fans. Especially those living in Chicago, because it’s now been confirmed that the band will be playing Wrigley Field on July 19th. Yesterday there were a few teases and a few media reports that it was a done deal, but early this morning the band finally confirmed what everyone had been expecting. With the Wrigley Field show came the announcement that they’ll be playing in London a few days prior, so it’s pretty safe to say we’ll see more dates coming soon. We are excited to announce two special Pearl Jam live performances to take place in London, Ontario and at Chicago’s Wrigley Field in July 2013. Both evenings will be An Evening with Pearl Jam; there will not be an opening band for either performance date.
The two show dates are:
Tues, July 16 – London, Ontario Budweiser Gardens
Fri, July 19 – Chicago, Illinois at Wrigley Field
*Fall Tour dates in the US will be announced in the coming months.
Fan Club members active as of Tues, Jan 22 are eligible for the Fan Club ticket drawing pre-sale. Memberships or renewals purchased after that deadline are not eligible for the ticket drawing pre-sale.
