I’ve been a big fan of Peaking Lights since I caught them as the opener of a Panda Bear show back a few years ago. Ever since I’ve been enamored with their lo-fi electronica aesthetic and the vocals coming through from Indra Dunis with beats from Aaron Coyes, two halves of the married duo. They also did a stellar dub remix EP of some of the newest stuff from Sinkane, so we know they’re running in the type of circles that perk my musical musings.
And they’ve got some new music coming out, a double length called The Fifth State of Consciousness, and earlier this week the twosome put out the first single, “Everytime I See the Light”.
