Paul Simon headlined at tonight’s final day of Outside Lands Music Festival 2019, basically coming out of retirement for the set of shows he’s had booked on the West Coast around this anchor performance.
He performed at Fox in Oakland this past Friday night and tonight’s setlist was no major difference, except well, wait until you see who came out for the encore…

One of the major highlights was Simon welcoming his Grateful Dead buddy Bob Weir after telling that they met all the way back at Monterey Pop Festival. While they’ve been friends ever since, they never played together until tonight (his words).
