Paul Simon closed out his two-night run in Maui earlier this week following a brief four nights of shows back out of retirement. Following two shows in the San Francisco Bay Area, Simon moved onto the Hawaiian island of Maui for his first shows there in many years.
The first night in Maui featured sit-ins from Hawaiian musician Keola Beamer, and for night two, Simon linked up with his old pal Michael McDonald of The Doobie Brothers fame for an encore of “Cecilia” with “Will It Go Round in Circles” thrown in as a jam segment in the middle. Pretty killer.
Full setlist hasn’t surfaced but I’m sure it’s pretty similar to the night #1 (besides the encore of course). Check out the sit-in below…
