For anyone not making this weekend’s Outside Lands Music Festival here in San Francisco, you’re in luck (sorta) as the festival has partnered with USTREAM.tv to broadcast sets from the festival. I’d personally prefer to see YouTube’s name on this press release as they seem to be the most reliable in terms of broadcast streams and minimize choppiness, but I shouldn’t complain at all — this is like watching a free music festival from the comfort of your own home. Let’s hope USTREAM has their technology ready to go for all the amazing music they plan on sharing; bands like Band of Horses, Dawes, Gary Clark, Jr. Foals, Grizzly Bear, Kurt Vile and more are all getting the Couch Tour treatment.
