NPR has announced that their Tiny Desk Contest is returning for 2019! Scroll down for details as the submission window is currently open!
Since 2008, NPR Music’s Tiny Desk concert series has welcomed beloved musicians from across genres to play behind Bob Boilen’s desk: everyone from Adele to Chance The Rapper, from T-Pain to Yo-Yo Ma. The Tiny Desk is a unique space that presents your favorite artists like you’ve never heard them before.
Keep in mind this is the type of thing that can actually make a career out of something you’re doing. Past winners include Fantastic Negrito, Tank and the Bangas, Gaelynn Lea, and Naia Izumi.
As much as the Tiny Desk is about celebrity, it’s also about discovery. So we launched the Tiny Desk Contest, our nationwide search to find the next great undiscovered musician to come play a Tiny Desk concert and go on tour with NPR Music.
We’ve pasted the entry rules below for you to read quickly and easily. Head over to the link below to get your info submitted!
