Sneakerheads and Deadheads rejoice! Nike has started to ready the release of new Grateful Dead inspired SB Dunks, set to be released at some point in the future, although a final date has not been listed yet. UPDATE: we finally have a release date!
The orange colorway [Not pictured] of the Nike SB Dunk Low Grateful Dead releases July 18 at FTC. The yellow colorway releases July 24 on SNKRS and at select skate shops, while the green colorway releases on the same day at select skate shops.
The internet sleuths have graced us with both the green/blue and orange/green colorways, and there’s some extra fir and a detailed tongue design that shows the iconic bolt. Finally, the swoosh matches the neck bandanas on the bears. Quite an impressive tribute.
There’s a 2020 date listed on the tongue, so it’s imminent.
Given that there’s a green/blue and orange/green colorway already, I wonder if we’ll see ALL of these color combos below:
