NEW ISH: Flume releases Arcade Fire “Afterlife” remix

Yesterday I had the esteemed pleasure of watching phenom beatmaker Flume absolutely destroy the Outside Lands Music Festival for 50 minutes of some of the best festival performances I’ve seen from a producer in the middle of the afternoon. Sure, his beats do a lot of the work for him, but it’s clear from his performance that he’s a talent all around. And today he extends that talent a little farther by releasing his new remix, a dreamy house trip through Arcade Fire‘s “Afterlife” from Reflektor.

He dropped both his “Tennis Court” (Lorde) and “You & Me” (Disclosure) remixes yesterday, so no doubt this will find a way into his set soon enough. He’s in Los Angeles tonight at Club Nokia; here’s the rest of his upcoming dates.
