So moe. is currently doing its annual snoe.down festival up in Lake Placid, New York. Although I’m not the biggest moe. fan, I have a lot of respect for this band’s ability to rile up a crowd, rock out a fun show, and build a successful independent business. Snoe.down is a really novel idea for a music festival: mixing the upstate NY ski-resort vibe with a full slate of jam-heavy concerts sets is just kinda cool. Plus, they’ve really brought together some quality talent to bulk up the line-up and latenight sets, so I’m sure this will be a solid festival.
