Phish fans are in the middle of a few weeks of jaw-dropping fun with The Baker’s Dozen run going down at Madison Square Garden, so no one really expected Cactus to be up today working on his solo stuff. But if you strolled over to his YouTube page you would have been surprised like I was.
Mike Gordon has released another new track off his upcoming LP, OGOGO, this time a straight-ahead funky rock track that feels not too far off from the groove that Phish locks in on when they play “Cities”. You’ll know that vibe when you hear the track kick off with that drum beat…
