Marc Maron is the guy that everyone knows as the king of podcasting behind WTF with Marc Maron Podcast, and he’s recently taken a turn into the world of acting. This may be one of his best crossovers yet, though!
He was the special guest on this week’s episode of The Simpsons where he sat down for one of his most important interviews yet: Krusty the Clown!
You can watch the trailer for the upcoming episode set to air this Sunday night, February 17, 2019 below via Twitter.

On his latest podcast, he sits down with the iconic voice behind Lisa Simpson, Yeardley Smith, and we get a piece of that Krusty interview which I can’t wait to listen to.
Yeardley Smith knows that Lisa Simpson gets people through tough times. She knows because strangers come up to her in public and tell her how much Lisa helped them. And yet, despite portraying this iconic character for 30 years, Yeardley struggled for a long time to see her own life and career as a success. She and Marc talk about her journey, which includes Broadway roles as a teenager, stumbling into voiceover acting, and hosting her own podcast, Small Town Dicks. Plus, Marc himself becomes part of the Simpsons Universe when he welcomes Krusty the Clown to the garage. For real.
Head over to his website to check it out or tune into Fox this weekend for the latest episode of The Simpsons. He’s officially made the Simpsons Wiki now, too.
