Lotus just unveiled plans for a five-night New Year’s Eve run to close out 2012 in Chicago, Pittsburgh, and Baltimore. The band will be supported Zoogma and Archnemesis during the first night at Chicago’s Riviera Theatre, while The Werks will open the second night. After that, it’s on to Pittsburgh for a performance at Mr. Small’s Theatre, with support from “cave music” trio Moon Hooch, an off-the-wall double-sax band worth keeping tabs on in itself. From there, Lotus will close out 2012 with two nights at Rams Head Live in Baltimore. Moon Hooch will open on December 30, and December 31 is billed as “An Evening with Lotus”.
