Jonathan Wilson’s first full-length album, Gentle Spirit was released two years ago to critical acclaim and was easily one of the top efforts by any artist for 2011. We at LMB have been awaiting word on his forthcoming second release and a few days ago we finally received it. Fanfare will be released on Downtown Records October 15th and features a who’s who of talent including Graham Nash, David Crosby, Jackson Browne, Josh Tillman (aka Father John Misty), Wilco’s Patrick Sansone, Mike Campbell and Benmont Tench from Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Dawes’ Taylor Goldsmith and Brit Roy Harper who helped co-write a few of the tracks. To preview the new album, Jonathan Wilson is streaming the first single “Love to Love”, which you can listen to now.
