For some of us that never got to see the Broadway musical Hamilton, there was some excellent news today from the creators. They’ve had a filmed performance of the record-breaking musical with the original cast and planned on a full theatrical release next October, but they’re speeding that up quite a bit for a July 3rd release on the streaming service, Disney+.
Disney reportedly paid $75 million for the streaming rights to Hamilton, and a big-screen adaptation of the musical by the company is reportedly in the works.
