Leon Bridges has released a new single called “Inside Friend” featuring guitarist John Mayer, which they recorded during an impromptu jam session and studio hangout last year according to the press release. Listen to the song below, which supposedly came about when the duo asked each other what introverts would think the ideal date is.

They note that they didn’t plan on releasing it like this, but that Bridges hopes “people find it soothing and uplifting while we hole up indoors and get through this.”
