Sad news from the Tedeschi Trucks Band and the Burbridge family to report as Kofi Burbridge has passed away following an ongoing struggle with a heart issue.
He had to step away from the band recently due to the complications, and the news was reported late last night and we’re seeing some tributes and kind words pouring in via social media as a result of the tragic news.
We deeply regret to announce that Kofi Burbridge has indeed passed away. The music world has lost an extremely talented performer and kind soul. The words which express our sadness do not exist. God Bless You and thank you Kofi.

Gone too soon, he was an absolute master behind the keys and a vital part of Tedeschi Trucks Band for years. This is very sad.
