Keane has announced a new album called Cause and Effect which will be released this September 20th on Island Records. They’ve released the first single called “The Way I Feel,” which will be debuted on The Late Late Show with James Corden next week June 12th.
The album was produced by David Kosten and the band themselves and features 11 new songs recorded in London and Sussex. Pre-order here.
Coming up following the release will be two special shows in August at New York City’s Bowery Ballroom and Los Angeles’ The Roxy, “with more US shows to be announced soon.” The band will then head off to do a major UK tour this fall including two nights at London’s prestigious Royal Albert Hall. The band will play a series of festivals this summer including BST in Hyde Park on July 14th.
The video for “The Way I Feel” was directed by Kevin Godley, who previously directed the video for the band’s hit single “Is It Any Wonder.”
