Earlier this week the duo of Justice, Xavier de Rosnay and Gaspard Augé, decided to make some waves with a release of a new animated video “Stop”, and the two made a stop at Google’s I/O conference yesterday and made a new announcement there — their next album is called Woman Worldwide and it’s set for release on August 24 via Ed Banger Records / Because Music.
What’s the story on the LP?
Turns out that the duo created the album as a result of adapting their songs to be played on tour, which to me is a complete game changer and something I think most bands should actually try more often. You need the road to test, you need to perform in front of audiences… songs completely take on new light after that.
This album follows A Cross The Universe and Access All Arenas which “purposely approximated the sound of bootlegs”, while the new album is a proper studio finisher that was started on the road and finished back at home, so it should be slamming in the sound department.

Justice revealed the album news and artwork following a live performance at the Google I/O conference in California yesterday, which was streamed live on YouTube along with the ‘Stop’ music video.
The video was created by Mrzyk & Moriceau, the French creative duo who have previously animated music videos for the likes of Air and Sébastien Tellier.
When can I catch them live this year?
